Pleated Insect Panel

Pleated Insect Panel Filter

Pleated Insect Panels use a 400 micron bug mesh in a V-pleat construction — more media area than a flat screen, in a shallower footprint than a pocket filter.

The V-pleat construction increases media surface area across the same 590 x 590mm face, which keeps resistance lower than a flush flat screen at the same airflow — independently tested by Airlab at 16.7 Pa at a full 3400 m³/h. The 590 x 590 x 45mm size (nominal 592 x 592 x 45mm) is our tested reference, with independently verified performance data below. Every dimension can be built to your exact housing or duct opening.

Pleated Insect Panels are assembled within a S/S or Aluminium frame using a 400 micron bug mesh in a V-pleat configuration.
Application: Coarse pre-filtration / insect & debris arrestance

Construction: V-pleat

Frame: S/S or Aluminium with 22mm or 45mm framing depth

Media: 400 micron bug mesh

Standard reference size: 590 x 590 x 45 mm (nominal 592 x 592 x 45mm)

Recommended airflow (reference size): Up to 3400 m³/h

Initial pressure drop @ 3400 m³/h (reference size): 16.7 Pa — independently tested by Airlab (Job 100186, 31 Mar 2026)

Custom sizing: Built to your exact dimensions using both S/S or Aluminum framing, in both 22mm and 45mm depths

Pressure drop and airflow figures above apply to the 590 x 590 x 45mm reference size. Performance at custom sizes is recalculated to your dimensions — talk to our team for a sizing estimate specific to your installation.
